RELEASE OF LIABILITY AND WAIVER AGREEMENT

This Release of Liability and Waiver Agreement (“Agreement”) is entered into by the undersigned participant (“Participant”) in favor of Metropolis Productions (“Company”), including its owners, officers, employees, contractors, agents, affiliates, event venues, sponsors, and representatives.

1. ASSUMPTION OF RISK

Participant understands and acknowledges that participation in rehearsals, performances, events, classes, workshops, and related activities (collectively, “Activities”) may involve inherent risks, including but not limited to:

Physical injury
Slips, trips, and falls
Equipment malfunction
Interaction with other participants
Travel to and from events
Property damage
Illness or exposure to communicable diseases

Participant voluntarily assumes all risks, known and unknown, associated with participation in the Activities.

2. RELEASE AND WAIVER

In consideration for being allowed to participate, Participant hereby releases, waives, discharges, and covenants not to sue the Company from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, or causes of action arising out of or related to any loss, damage, or injury, including death, that may be sustained by Participant or to any property belonging to Participant, whether caused by negligence or otherwise, while participating in the Activities.

3. MEDICAL CONSENT

Participant certifies that they are physically able to participate in the Activities. In the event of an emergency, Participant authorizes the Company to obtain medical treatment on their behalf and agrees to be financially responsible for any related costs.

4. INDEMNIFICATION

Participant agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Company from any loss, liability, damage, or costs (including attorney’s fees) that may arise due to Participant’s participation in the Activities.

5. PHOTO AND VIDEO RELEASE (Optional – Remove if Not Needed)

Participant grants permission to the Company to use photographs, video, and audio recordings taken during the Activities for promotional, marketing, and commercial purposes without compensation.

6. GOVERNING LAW

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of ___________________.

7. SEVERABILITY

If any portion of this Agreement is held invalid, the remaining portions shall continue in full legal force and effect.

8. ACKNOWLEDGMENT

Participant acknowledges that they have read this Agreement, fully understand its terms, understand that they are giving up substantial rights, and sign it voluntarily.
